Dr. Shah was born and raised in New Jersey. He is a board certified nephrologist. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then completed his medical school at Kansas City University in Missouri. Dr. Shah also obtained his Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Leadership from Rockhurst University Helzberg School of Management.

He completed his internal medicine training at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. He moved to Columbus to complete his nephrology fellowship at The Ohio State University, where he also received training to practice as an interventional nephrologist. Following fellowship, he served on faculty at The Ohio State University, practicing both as a general and interventional nephrologist. He joined Ohio Kidney Consultants and VACCO in 2019.

In his free time, he enjoys sports, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
